A Sweet and Sentimental Ninety Acres Wedding in New Jersey
Weddings have a way of turning ordinary days into unforgettable ones. Jamie and Mark’s Ninety Acres wedding in Peapack, New Jersey, was the perfect example of that. What started as a quiet, cloudy April morning quickly unfolded into a sweet, sentimental celebration filled with love, laughter, and deeply personal moments. From getting ready in the bride’s childhood home to an intimate ceremony at one of New Jersey’s most picturesque venues, every part of their day felt meaningful and magical.
As a New Jersey wedding photographer, I’ve had the joy of capturing so many unforgettable first looks, heartfelt vows, and all the little in-between moments that make a wedding day truly yours. If you’re dreaming up your own Ninety Acres wedding (or planning something somewhere equally special) I’d love to be there to document every step. Let’s connect and chat about how I can bring your wedding photography vision to life!
A Sentimental Start at Home
The morning began in a place that held decades of memories, Jamie’s childhood home. It was a cloudy April day, but the rain held off just long enough to let the soft, even light fill every corner of the house. There was something incredibly touching about seeing Jamie get ready in the very room she grew up in. Surrounded by family and keepsakes from her past, the atmosphere felt calm, comforting, and entirely her.
One of the sweetest moments was Jamie posing on the front steps with Roxy, her and Mark’s adorable Boston Terrier. That spot, where so many prom, holiday, and milestone photos had been taken, now had another meaningful moment to add to its history.
Her family’s attention to detail made everything feel even more special. The front door was decked out in charming wedding decor, and the house smelled of a candle appropriately named “Wedding Day.” Scattered throughout were little black confetti cutouts of a bride and groom, elegant white M&Ms, and even a vintage paper doll that Jamie’s grandmother wore at her own wedding. Roxy, of course, had her own pearl leash and floral collar. These thoughtful touches were more than just pretty details, they told a story.
Getting Ready: A Photographer’s Dream
Photographing Jamie’s details in her childhood room was a deeply moving experience. From her dress and bouquet to heirlooms and handwritten vows, each item felt connected to her past and her future. There’s something incredibly powerful about witnessing someone transition from daughter to bride in the very space that shaped her.
Jamie’s parents were nothing short of wonderful—welcoming, warm, and clearly filled with joy. Their home was spotless and cozy, with so much personality in every corner. I found myself gushing over the adorable powder room more than once!

A Dreamy Ninety Acres Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony and dinner were held at the breathtaking Ninety Acres estate in Peapack. Surrounded by lush woods and open fields, this venue combines rustic elegance with a sense of privacy that made it the perfect backdrop for Jamie and Mark’s intimate celebration.
Their Ninety Acres wedding wasn’t a huge event. It was a thoughtful, close-knit gathering with only their immediate families in attendance. They exchanged vows in a private space filled with laughter, tears, and love. Mark’s brother officiated the ceremony, bringing just the right blend of humor and sentiment. There were genuine belly laughs and emotional pauses—exactly the kind of ceremony you hope for when marrying your best friend.

Dinner, Details, and a Whole Lot of Love
After the ceremony, guests gathered for a private dinner in a beautifully decorated room at Ninety Acres. Flowers by Jardiniere Fine Flowers filled the space with soft color and texture, and custom place cards by Dove House Handmade added a sweet personal touch.
The atmosphere was cozy and full of joy. Mark brought out Jamie’s playful side, especially when it came time to cut the cake—laughter echoed through the room, and the love between them was palpable. The entire evening felt like a warm family dinner, full of smiles, shared stories, and heartfelt toasts.
An Evening Celebration in Morristown
While the Ninety Acres wedding was a quiet, meaningful affair with close family, Jamie and Mark weren’t ready to end the night just yet. After dinner, they headed to a rooftop bar in Morristown to celebrate with their friends. It was the perfect way to end their wedding day. First sharing sacred, intimate moments with family, and then letting loose and having fun with the rest of their loved ones under the night sky.
A Heartfelt Goodbye and a New Adventure
By the time the night wrapped up, I felt like I had become part of the family. Hugs were exchanged, and I left with a full heart. Jamie and Mark were soon off on their honeymoon! An incredible journey through New Zealand, Australia, and beyond. Knowing them, it’s the kind of adventure they filled with laughter, curiosity, and the same loving energy that made their wedding day so special.
Your Day, Your Story, Beautifully Told
There’s something truly special about a wedding that focuses on connection, intention, and the simple joy of being surrounded by those who matter most. From heartfelt moments at home to a quiet celebration at Ninety Acres, this day was a beautiful reminder that weddings don’t have to be big to be unforgettable.
